DUBAI: The wait is finally over for fans of Punjabi hip-hop – AP Dhillon is returning to Dubai for a one-night-only performance at Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday, September 7.
The hitmaker behind Brown Munde and Excuses will take the stage with a brand-new setlist and electrifying live experience.
Presented by Live Nation Middle East and Team Innovation, the show follows a year of sold-out performances, global appearances and the release of Dhillon’s bold new EP, The Brownprint. Tickets go on sale Monday, June 30 from noon, exclusively via LiveNation.me and Coca-Cola-Arena.com.
Who is AP Dhillon?
Amritpal Singh Dhillon, better known as AP Dhillon, has carved a unique space in the global music scene by merging Punjabi lyrics with hip-hop, R&B, and trap. Born in Punjab, India and based in Canada, he rose to stardom with the 2020 viral hit Brown Munde. The track, featuring appearances by Nav and Sidhu Moose Wala, became a cultural anthem for South Asian youth worldwide.
His musical catalogue includes chart-toppers like Excuses, Insane, and Summer High, making him a defining figure in the Punjabi pop movement. As a key member of the Run-Up Records crew alongside Gurinder Gill and Shinda Kahlon, Dhillon’s influence continues to expand beyond borders.
A new musical chapter
Now touring in support of his latest EP, The Brownprint, Dhillon promises to bring fresh energy to Dubai. The nine-track release features a remarkable list of collaborators including Salman Khan, Gunna, Ayra Starr, Jazzy B, and Sanjay Dutt, weaving global sounds with Punjabi storytelling.
